It’s really all about drawing the design of the cake down into the board, and making it read as one. We love it, and think it’s a great way to finish off your cake. Bear in mind, covering a cake board can take quite a bit of icing, and time. Often working on the cake board can take 30mins or even an hour or more! But the result is absolutely worth it. It is fast becoming the “done thing”, and it’s easy to see why.

So next time you are making a cake, particularly a birthday or party one, think about pulling some of the colors and designs on the cake, and incorporating them into the board. Plus, finish it off with a touch of ribbon, and apply it using double-sided tape. It will give your cake that quality look.
